Creating a TIN

Can some help?
When I try to create a new TIN from "Sandbox from scratch tool" all I get is a grid pattern, no little trianges dividing the grid squares. Some setting not set right or something else?
Thanks,
Glenn -
Hi Glenn,
The triangles are there - just softened. Go to View > Hidden geometry to display them.
Also, when you draw a circle and then Push/Pull it to be a cylinder and turn hidden geometry on, you can see the softened lines dividing the facets of the curved surface. This is exactly the same.

Thanks - I should have thought of that myself - only tried x-ray. I guess that's what comes from quick, accuate answers from this forum - Glenn
