Selecting faces

just starting out and hate to sound like a moron but-
I can't seem to highlight a face with the select tool -seems to work OK with edges. Also a face does not highlight with the push-pull tool even though I can push pull that face - just does not highlight or indicate I have selected that face -
Nothing to do with being a moron... These display issues often happen with SU.
Try to fiddle around with your OpenGL settings at Window > Preferences and see if unchecking any of the options help.
