Railings

Hiya,
Would someone be able to tell me how I go about making a proper 3D cylinder railing that curves round on corners in Sketchup?
I’ve tried but haven’t go very far

I use Tig's PipeAlongPath ruby for railings.

thats a very good tip to me too. i used to create handrail by just pin point centre lines, create posts(and paste them in order) and then run the follow me to create railings/balustrades...
