[Plugin] Boolean--OSCoolean (Dec 2013) for SU 8 up free ver

Works fine for me for SU 8 free
I click first on the icone then objects !

I love this plugin but wasn't able to get it to work with SU 7.1, I know its for v-8 but was hoping someone had a fix!

and what is the problem to not load the V8 in another folder and save as V7.skp ?

My plugins folder only has the folders Cadspan, JPP_Dir_15, LIBFREDO6_Dir_34, Ocean, TIGtools, TOS_Dir_16 plus Utilities, plus the rb files deBabelizer, extrubeEdgesby(various things), jointpushpull, LibFredo6, LibTraductor, loop_subdiv, ocean_extension, su2stl, ZLoader_OnSurface and utilities, if that for some reason makes it obvious to anyone. (Obv there's also OSCoolean.) I'm on 7 Pro.

Do you have the Oscar folder inside your plugins folder in 8?
or try to unzip the OSCoolean again into your plugins folder in 8, please.Oscar

Yeah, I downloaded and unzipped the folder and the file into Plugins several times. Mucho wierd.

Maybe you need enable OSCoolean toolbar? If I recall right, OSCoolean toolbar is not automatically enabled.

I cant get it to work I see the tool bar, I click both groups, says scoolean is processing and it does nothing else. Thanks,

btw great plugin, thanks for update.Does this OSCoolean boolean plug-in require the toolbar mentioned above? I cannot find it and it is not mentioned in the first post as a requirement.
I am not even SEEING the plug-in as an option in SU8. I downloaded SU8 SPECIFICALLY to let me use this plug-in. This is extremely frustrating. I am NOT a new SU user; I have SU7 with various plug-ins.
I'm using Win7 and my SU8 plugins folder has the Oscar folder and OSCoolean.rbs file. The latter is dated 2nd Oct 2010, downloaded today 21DEC10.
What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else encountered this? (Yes, I am restarting SU after installing plug-in).

Crashes SU8 every time for me.

Oh, well, gave up on this and went back to SU7... bought Booltools and seems to work perfect.

Great plugin thanks.
Could you please include a line with UI::Toolbar.restore (check and match syntax), so it keeps the status of the toolbar (displayed or not), thanks. I'd do it but since you plug in is rbs I can't.

i have installed the plugin, and when i click on union or any other button, SU8 simply does't work anymore well, i cannot even select the solids anymore with left click , only with right click.
and Coolean didn't complete his job either
does it work for you in SU8 ?

Hi- I'm a relative newbie to Sketchup...but I have had experience with Booleans in Form Z. I'm on a Mac using SU 8 and cannot seem to get this plug in working. I have the entire contents of the unzipped file in the plugin folder (and restarted). I don't see an OSCoolean toolbar to enable in the menus, nor do I see anything in the contextual menus. Does anyone know if this awesome sounding tool is working for SU 8 on the Mac? Is there something else I need to install as well? Thanks

Back in Sketchup Version6, this plugin has a presence in Tools. Also, right click context menu will reveal the tools in the flyout. It may be similar in version 8.
I have pretty much abandoned this plugin for a perceived lack of response. But, what should I expect for free?
