Sketchup 7 problem

Hello i just got the free version of su 7 and i am having a problem, randomly sometimes when i am trying to select something, it will select stuff that is behind it, i have uploaded a video to show... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4epov8UZrsU

Have you tried window->prefernces->opengl->correct reverse picking driver bug?
If that doesnt work, try turning off hardware acceleration and/or fast feedback.

ok so i tried it and it still didnt work, i turned off the hardware acceleration, and it works perfect except sketchup goes really laggy and slow...what do i do?!?!

What video card do you have?
are you using an intellimouse?

ok it says its a microsoft intellipoint mouse...

okay, uninstal that mouse and then just plug it in without installing drivers, let windows use the default generic drivers, or use another mouse.
I believe this will solve your issues

Did you uninstal the intellimouse?
That should have done the trick, I am out of ideas now.

hehe thanks for the help but its good now, i did uninstall intellimouse but that didnt seem to do anything so i completely uninstalled sketchup and reinstalled it and now it works fine!
