    hello everyone and thanks for this forum !

    i have a componant which is x in lenght; I've copied this compoent and i want this copy to be shorter...so i explode the copy and i create a new component but there are instances of the first component that i want to transform to the new created one....is this possible ?

    i hope it's clear 😒

      No don't do that, insert a new copy, then right click and select "Make Unique", that will give you a new component called for example "Front post#1"

      Double click it and edit to your hearts content, you will only effect the copy not the original. Any other components you insert of the copy will then be linked but not to the original.
