Sandbox

Hey everybody I am new to the forum and fairly new to sketch-up. I am a landscape designer and my company focuses primarily on high end residential homes in the coastal wilmington, nc area. I have watched several of the tutorials on the sandbox tools, however i am still having some trouble.
I import my Autocad siteplan with contour lines, select the contours, and then select the sandbox 'from contours' tool and I do not see a sketchup representation of the terrain as i had hoped. Am i missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Landscapedraw,
The sandbox creation process should be shown at the bottom of your SU screen. Do you see any process running there? (Sometimes - especially if it is a complex set of contour lines ,-, it can take rather long; even hours!)
If that is an issue, you may be interested in "simplify contours" downloadable from the ruby section of the GSU website (scroll down to the bottom).
