Google Earth Camera Car

I've been meaning to post this here since I took the photo in Edinburgh back in the summer (you can tell it's Scotland in the summer because it's grey and cloudy). I wouldn't fancy taking it round a tight bend too quickly.

That must rank as one of the world's most boring jobs...not driving around taking the photos, but the poor guy that has to fuzz-out the features of every foreground person in every shot.

Is that Fort Kinnaird? I'll look forward to Edinburgh being on street view. I foresee spending some time going round spotting everything and trying to find people I recognise (assuming they aren't too blurred).

It's Meadowbank Retail Park, just off London Road. Yeah, it'll be cool to see my hometown from street level... I wonder if they did 360° panoramas from the top of Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat?
