      I don't really know what to call it but it would be nice, as Tamfore requested Here, to have a script that when moving an object it cannot pass through another. In other words it would stop when it bumps into or collides with another component (or any geometry for that matter).

        what you could do is place all the 'candy' or 'apples' above the bowl, then using sketchy physics, let them all drop into the bowl. Then take your selection (before you reset) copy it, and paste it somewhere else. Your model will stay in the 'fell into place' state.

          I don't know. Will it work if you are moving something horizontal or vertical, not just selecting something and dropping it? I have not used drop2.

            i agree - the drop script already does that... that works for droping to the bottom of the bowl... but its not useful when stacking the apples in the bowl together...and does not stop when touching another component... it at times goes right through.

            So i used the drop feature to drop the whole group of apples in the bowl.. but that was before i was trying not to intercept them... now I am wanting them to be near or touch but not collide or intercept and the drop script does not always prevent that.

              Now that i have reread this thread - I just realized... I got the drop script of smustard... but I do not think it is drop2? I will have to check into that.

                somehow I can't find drop2 anywhere. could you link me to the location, Coen? that would be great.
