Can't input for push pull
-
I am not sure if I am just missing something here. I purchased a new laptop and have installed the newest release of SU pro 6. When I try to input a distance during push pull it does not take. I see it in the bottom right but it only pushes or pulls until I let go of the mouse button. No matter what I do or look at I can not find a fix. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks in advance.

this maybe a stupid idea, but does your lappie have a separate numerical keypad, if so you may need to turn num lock on/off.
thats all I can think of apart from a new download.

This may be even stupider but when I'm teaching SketchUp people keep forgetting to hit "enter" after they type in the numbers. I know that isn't likely here because, presumeably, you were doing this right on your previous computer, but... just in case.

Another stupid idea: in preferences > Drawing, do you have Click-drag-release (or Auto detect) checked? (although I just tried and it should work that ay, too)
I always use Click-move-click. -
Well guys thanks for all the "stupid ideas" but the one that fixed it was Gaieus! For some reason that is a setting I have never had to mess with when doing any install. I really appreciate your help. This was driving me crazy.

Hi Scott, glad it works now (but then why did it work with those settings on my comp?)

No clue. Believe me I am as puzzled as anyone.

Never mind, there seem to be so many inconsistencies with different keyboard layouts, units and templates. It must be hidden somewhere along these things.
