Reversable motors?
-
As we probably know, in sketchyphysics, motors are not reversable. So, many people rely on powered hinges. While they do work, they have their flaws, as in they can only go at full speed, full stop, or full reverse. Also, they do not have a maximum speed. So, would it be too much to ask for a reversable motor?

Motors will reverse if you use negative accel. I assume you mean you cant cause a controlled motor to reverse with a slider. That will be fixed in SP3.

For now you can just use two motors in opposite directions, with the opposite motor on a different controller. This allows forwards/reverse, but at half the set speed.

all i do is make a servo with 360 backwards and 360 forwards and maybe 5 or 10 damp and it seems to work ok
i used it on my monorail model today
its just a little shaky -
What i do to avoid the "ignore" control: use a powered hinge instead of the reversed motor, then play around with the accel of the hinge until the wheels don't move at 0.5.
