How to do this in Sketchup, please help
-
Have two questions.
-
How do you make the lines "colored" in sketchup. For example I have 3 boxes, all of them are white. I want box A to have black colored lines (default), box B to have the yellow lines, box C to have blue lines.
-
How do you model a "flex duct". Is there a BEND command in sketchup?
-
-
If you go window->styles, thne in one of the tabs, at the bottom of the window there will be a little drop down box where you can select 'colour by material.'
- cant really answer this at the mo as i ahvent got SU in fornt of me.
-
we dont have Bend command
we have FOLLOW ME
-
Hi folks.
Since the "Follow me" Tool rotates the shape to be perpendicular to the beginning of the path, make sure that the shape is perpendicular to the beginning of the path. If you do not observe this rule, the shape will be distorted. For example, a circle will become an ellipse.
Just ideas.

Thanks. I know about the follow me tool. What I want to know is for example. How do you bend or curve a cylinder or tube that has a profile in it, let's say like a flex duct profile.
