I got my Mac Mini connected to my TV, currently connected by wire with an USB extension cord. I can't stand all these cables and wires.

Can anyone recommend a wireless mouse and keyboard, preferable with a small form factor?
Note: I like that I can control the volume from my keyboard. I tried with one of my multimedia PC keyboards, but I could not get the multimedia keys to work. Plus, I seemed to have some problems getting the keys mapped correctly.

My advice would be not to look any further than Logitech Mx or Vx Revolution for the mice. I use an MX with my desktop.....has its own charger, so you never have to replace batteries and it is pleasure to use... with lots of buttons for whatever functions.
The VX I use with my Laptop and is very good as well...and if you want small, this might be the one to go for.

But does it work for the Mac?
Logitech got lots of interesting mice and keyboards, but their Mac support it lacking.

stu is quite right: these mice are great. depending on the size of your hand the VX can be used as a desktop mouse.

however, i still find apple´s mighty mouse better and just because of the size of the scroll ball. it is so small you do not even notice it. thus it does not put any stress on your finger on the long run.

I just bought the Logitech S530 wireless keyboard / mouse combo for Mac. I have not tried it yet, will install on Monday; online reviews seem to be more than fair performance.

I nearly bought that, but since my Mac is to be used with the TV and be lying around on the TV table I bought the much smaller Apple Bluetooth keyboard and a separate Logitech Bluetooth mouse. Works great. Only thing is that I wish bluetooth mice came in normal sizes, not just notebook size.

Well, after using this for more than a month now I must say that I'm more than satisfied with the performance!
