Insightful Article on Sarah Palin

Insightful, questionable; biased, absolutely. The author is an Obama supporter.
Being biased doesn't make it less insightful. Best insights are often most biased Ron. I didn't say it wasn't biased, all I said was it was insightful. You are welcome to disagree based on the fact that its biased. If you can get pass the admittedly relentless negative tone the author actually came up with lotsa of interesting facts and about Palin that most other News organisations seem to have failed to pick up.

Hey, I'm not a huge Palin fan, although I loved her RNC speech, but Obama doesn't have much more experience than she does. And he's running for President, for Pete's Sake!
I think being biased, which we ALL are, does make scrutiny somewhat less insightful and more subjective. Or, in the case of Dan Rather, flat out wrong and untrue.
I think McCain should have picked Joe Lieberman and Obama should have picked Hillary.

What did i do?
None of them have the experiance to be president! as to have the experiance you would need to be an ex-president.
However I do believe that Obama has the leadership skills, temprament, and intellect to be a fine president in training (they will all initially be in training)

This is true....I actually thought of you when I posted "....for Pete's Sake".

Good read! (and funny) I don't know the ins and outs but
got a bit fright when I watched Sarah and Joe debating.I asked myself a THE simple question, which one would
I like to see stepping into the Boss's shoes should the
need arise. It was Joe! Maybe Sarah could handle this
in 10 years time after she learns more about the World
but not within the next 4 years under pressure. IMHO she
is just not qualified at the moment to do VP jobMike
But thats the point of the article. She doesn't need to know about the world! Her appeal is purely on the level of the subconscious 'I am one of you'! This in fact makes a convincing point why some people shouldn't get the vote. Just think for a minute, someone who doesn't know anything about World Agendas and Global politics is going to be affecting YOUR corner of the world for the next five years!? How is that democratic accountability?

I wonder what will happen to Alaska over the next 8 years if Obama wins and Palin continues to govern.
As far as the argument 'only intelligent' people should be allowed to vote, well, my question is: Who gets to determine who falls within the 'intelligent voter' parameter? -

Ill certainly agree with you on that one, although I'm not a real big Lieberman fan and he's from my state. Not to mention he's a flip flopper...

By flip-flopper do you mean he went from being a Democrat to being an Independent? We had a flip-flopper in Colorado a few years ago when Ben Nighthorse Campbell went from Democrat to Republican.

This one is especially for Paris and ought to really ruffle his feathers:

I once read a a sci-fi short story where they finally decided to elect the President by lottery, which everyone was joined in, so any "Joe Six-pack" (that's not condescending, I guess, when a Republican uses it?) could actually be President. Somehow this election reminded me of that, and how: the people just want to be able to vote for someone like themselves, however they define that, qualifications and issues be damned.
Well-done shoe-shine photo. Comedy that plays with our prejudices is tricky. Some people don't get it. This is sort of a double-whammy.
I think a lot of decisions does come down to personal attraction. I remember polls back in 2004 that showed most people would rather have a beer with Bush than Kerry. Now having a beer with Ted Kennedy...now that's another matter.

Looks like Palin's not the only one who hunts beaver.
Back to burning crosses, Ron. I thought you guys spent Sunday afternoon playing the banjo on the porch and goin' down to the dump to shoot rats.
-
No, we spend our Sundays making fun of goofy, arrogant liberals. In fact we do this every day.

Well, aren't you handy? You know what they say..if the women can't find you handsome they can at least find you handy.
Edit: Actually, this saying comes from the "Red-Green Show". You should know it, it's a Canadian production. I'm sure they have cable in Toronto.

Lame response...
Hey, there's lots more where this comes from... you're like the politician all the editorial cartoonists hope will get into office.
Figured you for a Red-Green guy.
I also went to UCLA and studied in Florence (that's in Italy, Ron.)
Working on the next installment. Sig heil! -
UCLA, Florence....WOW!! Now why the hell did you find it necessary to tell everyone this?

Since you seem to be obsessed with tracking me down and obviously read a previous post I merely thought it prudent to offer a few more destinations to your itinerary.
