Go Go Dancer Cage

Hey,
I need to design a 6' diameter GoGo cage for a movie set. Think human scale cylindrical 'bird cage' with a domed top. Can someone suggest the most efficient way to space the bars around the perimeter and create the ribbed domed top.

This post caught my eye because i just built dancers for my Energon Taverns in my Kaon model...

feel free to use her, but she'll be too big for the cage:)
