I am trying my hand at floor plans using sketchup. How do you get the light lines that show interior walls, etc? I believe that it has something to do with styles, but haven't figured it out. I have searched the online manual, but can't find it.

Do you mean the lines that limit interior volumes, when watching outside...
probably the use of the X-ray mode may help you, when drawing, surfaces are lighter
textured, in order to see throw...If not, as far as I know, Su doesn't allow different thickness for drawing lines when
you sketch. Rendering programs are aimed for such a purpose.MALAISE
