      Hi

Right i'm changing my last post as i have managed to figure some of it out today, i have a differnt question entirely now.

When you assign attributes to various parts of your model and save it as a model, you can then run attribute reporter fine which is great.
You can also set attributes to one item say a square and set attributes and run the reporter which is fine.

What you can't seem to do though is, build a model from a variety of components that have attributes already set and then run a report after you have finished.Even if you save the model and then reopen it. It is like the program can't read layers?

Has anyone got any ideas regarding this?

What's the link between attributes and layers in your case 😲 ?

Hi Didier and shannon, i have found that the attributes reporter wont take attributes from components unless you open the component and then select then the instance. It would be good if you could select the entire model and then get a report on the attributes. Another thing that would be really good would be: name the attribute by material and a seperate field for the supplier of the material. That way when the material is exported it could be grouped into suppliers. Do you think this can be done didier?
