Wow, really great It is a long way for you and Podium, but I want to do something like that.

According to this comment, the video was taken from this site, and apparently isn't real-time.

All together now! "The Matrix!" (version 0.1005019 beta)

Jim: yeah. a lot of the footage looks from 3dblasphemy (transformer truck, city background, ...) but the part with mspaint on the wall and dynamic lights sure looks good

If SketchUp 7 is anything less than this I'd be disappointed.
Impressive is not the right word.
Eye popping, heart stopping, mouth drooling are better words.
Seriously, can this actually be for real? -
From the looks of things...the way it incorporates bits from here and bits from there...I'd say this was more of a WIP - a statement of intent for venture capitalists and other potential investors.
It looks to be more like where they would like to be in a while from now, as opposed to what can actually be achieved at the minute. Some of the social interaction features look very impressive, quite apart from the actual look of the thing (if that can be achieved on demand and in sufficient volume server-side). -
Ahh, it is a cloud based renderer. Which as I understand it is essentially thousands of processors working together to push out the content. So your computer only has to process displaying the images, not actually do the rendering. Its something like a realtime MASSIVE render farm, but base on cloud technology (which I only barely understand, but it is currently all over the tech news if you want to find out more).
I was hoping to see this type of stuff popping up soon
