      Hi,

Because I think my question is probably a common one, I searched the forum, but couldn't find a relevant answer.

      My problem is the following:
I have a double wall and want a window in it that sits in between my two surfaces and cuts through both of them.
Out of the box behaviour of components seems to be that it only cuts through one surface, no matter how you move it.
What's the best way to solve this?

      tia

        Hi and welcome!

Have a look at these two tutorials:
        http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=744
        and
        http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?p=3924#p3924

These are only "workarounds" though but with a little experience, you can do everything quite quickly.

          Thanks Gaieus,

I'll have a go at it.
A bit silly that such a problem needs workarounds though.
