Ruby script download

Hi
have tried to download ruby script " drop " and it only available in notepad
have i got something missing on my computer ??

When you download choose to save it rather than open it and just place it in your plugins folder.

Since ruby scripts are "simple" text files, the normal editor for them is Notepad if you open them so there's no problem with that. If you open them in Notepad, you can also save them with the exact name you see in the link (make sure to add the .rb extension - Notepad may not add it automatically).

have placed it in the folder and when i open SU id does not appear in the plug in drop dowm menu , but i downloaded WEld and that appears

Eac script chooses where it wants to pop up. So some come in under "Draw" or "Plugins" or some are only in the right click menu. Gotta hunt for them sometimes.

Drop shows up on the right click context menu - select a group or component, then right click.
