Watercolor rendering

hi, I just made some watercolor style images by using Sketchup plus Vray, and finally get it in Photoshop. I'm wondering if it's too much PS. but anyway these images reminds me the very light watercolor rendering on a water paper.

For me the first thing that really jumps out is the texture of the canvas. Its very dominant and distracts somewhat from the images, which would otherwise look very good. If you can tone down the canvas a bit I think it would really help to improve them.
