Triangulate faces
-
Does anyone know of a script that will automatically triangulate all faces in a mesh (preferably keeping its original texture)?

Subd and smooth can subdivide the mesh into triangles, although youll get a lot of extra faces. It does preserve the original textures though.

Hi Jon,
Would trhis plugin be of any use?

Maybe it would only work on (fairly) horizontal surfaces (and maybe not on closed, hollow "solids"). I don't know. -
Thanks.

If you export to OBJ (SU has a setting to triangulate all faces) it will do that, you can then just import the file into SU again.
