Alien earth

Hi all! Not a revolutionary post at all: i just wanted to share a picture which come out after a little playing with Maxwell's new sun/sky parameters. Greetings for everyone from Pibuz Prime!

so even the sun itself is procedural and no environment map? that is amazing. should get the newest version and do a bit of testing.

Thats a cool image, I did one a while back using Vue (no post edit)

Can vue do clouds natively then? if so thats pretty cool (all these cool things! i'll have to try them at some point.)

Yup, Vue can make clouds, edit clouds and even make shapes out of clouds.

Solo, what is the groundcover used in your image? Also, is that an atmosphere you've created yourself? Looks great.

The ground cover is a basic long grass and the atmosphere is generated using Vue's atmosphere editor (very easy to create)

I haven't had much luck editing the VUE atmospheres - too many parameters, could never seem to get the results I like. So, I rely on the ones already available.

I am glad you started this as I love these fantasy scape scenes.

Not at all Solo! Alienscapes are intriguing and fascinating! The only thing is that the often count so much on the atmosphere you give them, so i really think the winning program for this aim is vue!! Kepp posting, please!
