      Does anybody know how to import multiple objects into one scene and maintaining there correct coordinates?

        Untried, but could you possibly join all the geometry with lines (or group it perhaps) then import it. You could then delete all the lines to get it back to normal.

          try copying them and using edit>"paste in place"
