Change hidden line to actual line
-
Is it possible to make all SU hidden lines that define geometry to solid lines on surface?
-
Turn on hidden geometry, select all, then unhide (of course you'll have to do this inside each group...unless there's a ruby :`)
-
I dont think you can unhide lines, instead you have to unsoften them. Youve also got to be careful you only select the hidden lines, otherwise you dont get the option to unsoften.
EDIT: my bad, just checked it in SU and you have to unsoften softened lines and unhide hidden lines. Perhaps there is a ruby out there that can do this, would certainly come in handy at times.

Are you wanting to show the hidden lines, then turn these into solid lines on the surface? I guess you then want to turn off hidden lines and leave the newly created lines inplace?
-
Actually there are only a very few special cases when you need to have hidden lines at all. Lines that are not creating geometry should generally be deleted instaed.
If - as Remus says - those are softened lines, you need them to be kept softened otherwise your curved surfaces won't be curved any more.

I'm sorry, I must have not been very clear. What I mean is that the hidden lines that form the geometry is what I would like to change into lines that one could display when printed out. Or one could extrude a shape along the lines as in a window mullion. I think windowizer may be what I need.

You mean like: some hidden lines are visible while others are not? I've wanted that a couple of times too.
