Possible to copy scenes from one file to another?

Hi. In our office we have instances of multiple people working on the same model or various clones floating around at different levels of development. Does anyone know if there is a way to copy a preferred 'scene' (ie: viewpoint, shadow settings, etc) from one SU file to another? It would be great if it worked similar to 'copy and paste in place' works for objects. Thanks.

I remeber there was a script lurking somewhere like Smustard that allowed to to do it but i can't remember what is was called.
Also there was a dicussion on this that lead to the script
