When i display shadows, my model looks as though its floating or hovering over the ground. How do i anchor it?

    Thanks.

It sounds like youve put your model above the ground plane (the red green plane in SU.) All you need to do is move it so it's level with the origin, then shadows should cast realistically.

And remember; the "real" ground plane is always on the red/green plane of the original global axis set! So if you have ever moved or aligned your axes, right click on any of them and "reset" the original to see where you have to move your stuff.
