        Dear David,

I have only just seen your back of the envelope styles, and they are great. It is funny how mind work, isn't it.

        Regards,
        Bob

Bob, glad you like those styles. Yes, it is funny how minds work. πŸ˜‰

So I can't help myself. I keep browsing for more images to use for backgrounds. I figured out that if I make a somewhat transparent PNG version of the material and use that for the overlay watermark image, I seem to have somewhat better results.

Here's another ratty style. This time on parchment. Unfortunately the Style file is over 2 Mb so I can't upload it. I'll e-mail if someone wants it.

Cheffey I was thinking about video when I was making those. I'm glad you found them useful.

By the way, I recognize that table. πŸ˜‰

How do you get the smooth edges? On all the models I make, my biggest complaint is that the diagonal lines are all jagged looking. I'm trying to find a way to make them look nice and smooth like you have in this cabinet pic. Thanks! πŸ˜„

Antialiasing? When I export a JPG I do it at screen resolution. I have Ani-alias checked and the quality slider all the way to the left. Check to see that you have all that, too. Go to Export>2D Graphic. Click on Options in the dialog box.

Thanks, I assume you mean you have the slider all the way to the RIGHT (being that says "Better Quality") correct? πŸ˜„

Assuming that's what you meant, that's what I've been doing, yet I still feel like my models are coming out a little more jagged than I'd like. I'm looking for a good style that might give it a SLIGHT sketch look, yet still keep the details (sort of a drawn plastic or cartoon look - if you know of any please let me know) that might help me out with the whole thing. Something like that would be great for the project I'm working on.

                  Thanks again! πŸ˜„

Yes. I meant right not left. Sorry about that.

The sketchy sort of styles will probably help some because the lines are raster images not vectors and they tend to be a bit thicker which masks the JPEG jaggies.

I'll keep my eyes open for a likely style for you.
