Help -- how do I do this
-
I understand how to use the sketch-up sorta BUT,
how do I draw a house INSIDE a set of lines that represent the property size?
I drew a rectangle that is 25' x 140' which is the property boundaries - HOW the hell do I draw a "House" that is setback 3' on sides etc.
How do you make the marks 3' inside ?
the simple stuff seems to be the hardest - it gets out of whack.
If I draw a box inside a box --- HOW do I move the inside BOX only without moving the outside box
where art the tutorials?

seaside,
The first thing I would recommend (if you haven't already) is turning on the Large Tool Set via the menu: View > Toolbars > Large Tool Set.
From your questions, the Tape Measure tool sounds like it would work well for you in this instance. Here is the documentation:
http://download.sketchup.com/OnlineDoc/gsu6_win/Content/I-Construction_Tools/ConTool-Measure.htm
In a nutshell, select the Tape Measure tool, select an edge you would like to measure from (left-click a parallel edge), place the construction line (left-click), type in the exact distance, press enter.

yah, just make some guides using the tape measure tool (press ctrl while you're using it, a plus sign will appear next to it) or use the offset tool.
oh, and i know that you're annoyed, but please try to watch your language. some people might find it offensive. (i acctualy dont mind, but im just speaking for those who do.)
good luck with that house!

You may also want to make a group out of the property box. This way you can move things around that you place on it, without affecting the property itself.
