Which is the best way to create Icons. Any Tips and suggestions?
I tried that but with no good results.

Btw The format should be 16x16 and 24x24 or 16x16 and 32x32 ?

I had a quick go at making icons before and it was simply a case of cutting them out in photoshop ad putting them on a trasparent background. Itd probably help if you were a bit more specific about what these icons were for.

As for sze, im not really sure.

          Hi Burkhard.

After saving your drawing as a png ,you could use the free "Icon FX" at http://icofx.ro/
or the very simple software "simly icon" at http://www.smoothdraw.com/product/freeware.htm to edit it further.

          Greetings,

SketchUp uses 16 x 16 for small icons
            and 24 x 24 for large ones.

If your lazy, you can use the 24x24 size for both the large and small - SketchUp will shrink it to the right size, but it won't look as nice as if you made a small one.

Cursors are 32x32 , by the way.

              Hi
