      Could not get into forum.
BTW, thanks for the recent Catchup, it was very informative and comprehensive, a true testament to dedication by the forum board and yourself.
      Keep up the great work!
Comment, although I don't think 3D modelling, on Google Earth would be a good subforum, on sketchucation, I have not found, a good, effective and responsive google earth sub/forum, other than the big one.
      Cheers

Regarding the above comment, searching on this site, there are 423 posts and 29 pages in search for "Google Earth". Is there merit in creating a separate subforum for Google Earth under the
"Extensions & External Applications" In my opinion, it would be beneficial to collect and develop wisdom and effectiveness for 3D modelling and google earth. What do you think?

Google Earth 4.3 has time lapse modelling enabled as can be seen in the model below. Apparently the kmz file can be modified for time.

            Hi Irv,

I agree! From a technical poin-of-view is very helpful to have access to the expertise of the people who are doing SU professionally. However, a lot of the people modeling specifcally for GE are hobbyists, like me. Some of our concerns are specific to the SU/GE relationship with its own problems and solutions.

It would be great to have a place to share our ideas and support each other. It might also help focus Google's attention on what we're trying to do. There's some really good work being done, but I have the feeling that it gets lost in the sheer volume of stuff being loaded into 3DW.

            Tom

Thanks Tom for your response on GE/SU, I have to volunteer at the hobbyist level too. I see many questions about GE on this forum, and there isn't a corner to collect these threads or meaningful contributions like many of the other SU friendly software. I believe that Google will continue to enhance the GE/SU crossover modelling, and where and how to follow these developments is my question?
Certainly, it may not be in the interest of the forum board and moderators, to take on more GE/SU content. I couldn't agree with you more, Tom, there is some really good work been done, but its been lost in the sheer volume of content(3DW).
I'll have to take another ride on the London Eye.(I'm sure sketchphysics could give this ride a real spin!)
