1- as far as i can see, when purging, SU still keeps the material assigned to a group even if inside entities have different ones applied. perhaps a 'default all group's colour' option could be added to the depot. that would shrink file size even more and get rid of 'auto painting' when editing groups.
2- it would be great to have a materials list where you can pick a number of them and delete them in one go (presently either all together with 'material remover' or one by one through the browser (very slow)
3- (can't stop now)
a nice right click option to select all similar material. perhaps it is already out there? (on complex models, right clicking on a material to choose 'select' takes up to a minute!)
