Faster on safe mode
-
I'm sorry if I did it on the wrong page or wrong topic. Actually this is not a bug, not a bad bug
If I start windows on safe mode, sketchup runs pretty faster. (for xp) when I boot on vista and change the compatibility to "no visual themes" etc. (I check all the boxes there actually) sketchup runs also faster. But if I boot normally sketchup runs much much slower, especially when I import a dwg file to model it. (the dwg is pretty good and clean, one layer, every single line is connected with endpoints) Any one can explain why sketchup does run on the safe mode much faster or how I can run it that fast on normal boot? Thnx for reading.

SU will run faster in safe mode as when in safe mode you have only the essential software running as opposed to in normal mode where all the essentials and other crap are running in the background.
