      Hi all,

I got a serieus problem with my sketch-up.
I recently bought a new laptop for working at school (i am graduating) and for working at home.
Its an pretty good machine with an Nvidia geforce 8600 GS 512MB
But when i open my sketchup file everything is fine. But as soon as I try to use a tool like move, push/pull, rectangle, line etc my screen goes mad. And i am unable to draw anything.
I got the newest driver from nvidia as far as possible.
      I got directX 9.0c
any thought on how to fix this?

      Thanks in advance!

      Maarten

        I think i fixed it.
In the preferences screen there is a "tab" called OpenGL.
In there you got 3 checkboxes and i checked out the last one called "Use fast feedback"
When checked off all isseus seem to be over.
        Thanks anyway.

I recently had one of these cards placed in my works workstation and had so much trouble with SU. I tried various things to cure it but gave up and put my old card back in.
I now have a nice GPU sat in my bottom draw!
Maybe I will put it back and give it another go with what worked for you.
