Hi i,m dolphus how do I use PHP files i have tried to download tutorials but get php files i have not been sucessful in understanding how to get it up and running help!!!!

where are you downloading these tutorials form?
I tihnk if the extension is php, it means its a web page, so my guess is your downloading a web page rather than a video.

That attachment downloads as a zip file for me. Are you by any chance on Mac? We have had reports that Macs download (or "try" to download) certain file types as php files (which are indeed scripts only used on dynamic websites like this and cannot be run only from a webserver).

Thanx chaps for the interest but KennyL came up with the winner i was using a free download manager and it could not recognise the file - problem solved thanx
