Igor's renderings
-
alright, i rendered another one while i was out at dinner. i tried to get the two spires to reflect off eachother, and im shure they did, but i cant see it! i will once again try to get the image to apear here, but ill probly end up posting a link.
or the link, if the image doesnt show up (agian) i heard something about a file server somewhere. where you you could upload a file regardless of size. where is that?

heres another. if youve noticed, its just me playing around with how the TIN reflects on the spheres and the floor. i havnt made any changes to the scene.
-
here is another, sorry if you dont like the blue tinting.
-
shhh! im letting another one render during math class (its boring and i already know the stuff). just more reflective TINs. nothing special... almost
-
ok, i lied. the render during math didnt turn out too well (the render didnt turn out well, everything else was fine). but ive go another baking right as i type. its nothing special, just me playing around w/ extremly high poly spheres. it almost crashed my computer! just one sphere has 5000 faces!
ps. can someone pleas reply? i mean, besides me. i would like some helpful critisism. plus no one has responded to this thread for a while besides me and possibly Remus. thanks!
-
Oh sorry, I thought it rude to interrupt a man playing with his balls.
-
oh, ha ha.
very funny.and its not a ball its a sphere. see the difference?
*edit: here it is! (i know, not the cleanest render in terms of noisy-nes, but still good). ha ha! bryce came out backwards! lol
-
here is another. i know, very basic shape that everyone has made like 5 times. but whatever.
my only complaint is that i couldnt find a way to smooth the edges, so i had to hide them instead, making a very blocky shading pattern. anyone know how to fix this?
-
nice renders!
i like the very first one, the car and the TIN. -
im glad you like them, julius. ive got another one going right now (im in study hall with nothing to do). its just more reflective TINs, but with intersections added in. ie: i used "intersect with ______" along with the TINs. it looks cool, trust me.
oh, and happy birthday to me! (it my birthday)
-
Happy B-day... you should try using bump maps on the floor!
-
btw, if you can't get indigo to work, why don't you try Kerkythea?
-
here it its. i think it came out good. more views coming soon!
-
im shure Solo will reply just as soon as he's done scratching his head about how i made this.
just kidding, im sure this is childs play to him. -
how long did the last rendering take?
-
oh, not that long, about half an hour to forty-five minutes. ill post the SKP if someone wants it. its a pretty cool model.
-
here is another. done during study hall. i was bored out of my skull and SU kept on crashing on the extremely high poly count of the model i was trying to render, so went with a simple square. this is aftrer only 66 iterations out of 10000
-
is ANYone going to respond?!?!?!
please?
-
These are nice but how about downloading something from the warehouse and rendering that? That way ppl will be even MORE impressed
-
ray, your comment seems very ironic to me. i first started with rendering things form the warehouse, then i tought that people would get borred with the thread because i wasnt even rendering my own stuff, so i started making my own.
plus, its been a learning experience. i never would have learned what i have if i had just gotten stuff from the warehouse.and now for something completely different: i just got indigo to work!!!!! (im sure remus is happy about this). and i mean litteraly just got it wo work, like in the last 2 minutes. im exited. as you can probably tell.
but, once podium 2.0 comes out, indigo goes out.
sorry remus.
