Sorry, I forgot to name drop the render engine plugin - It's IRender NXT Beta...it's in testing stages right now so you can try it for a period. IRender and IRender+ are currently for sale, the NXT version is in Beta testing, it's what I used for me renderings. In my opinion, it's the best plugin I've seen yet - even against Podium. When NXT is completed, it's going to be fantastic and really change what you can use SketchUp for.

            Let's not forget these ones:

            • what does it cost?
            • do they have a Mac version?
            • does it do parallel renders?

            Questions! Questions! 💚

For some reason I was under the impression that NXT was an IMSI product and a Mac version of Turbosketch. I need to look into this one, looks promising so far.

They kind of look like microstation renders!

Must be the 3 letter acronym with an X. The IMSI product is IDX Renditioner. So far only a Mac version, but PC is on the way...

One of the nXt support guys is working with this model with the latest version. He is trying to get more subtle lighting under the awning, using the sun, sky and cloudiness intensity settings.

                      See the nXt forum: http://nxt.accurender.com/forums/t/817.aspx
