In all my previous versions of SU, I have been able to assign a keyboard Shortcut sequence of F1 followed by Esc. The F1 is assigned to Select None & the Esc was the same as picking the Select Arrow from the tool bar (which deactivated whatever tool I had been using at the time). They're right next to each other & easily accessible without looking at the keyboard. At that I'm free to use the Selection Arrow to select something or go to the keyboard for another tool.

The newer version of SU doesn't seem to allow me to assign ANYTHING as a Shortcut for the Select Arrow, forcing me to go repeatedly to the toolbar for it. Does anyone have a suggestion for someone who is not inclined to go to menus anytime a quicker option is available?

      Thanks...

You might be able to assign a different shortcut for the 'cancel operation' thing which would mean youd be able to put it closer to the spacebar, which is select arrow by default.
