20000 VIRUS RIGHT ON MY COMPUTER
-
There is a problem with my Windows Vista, There is a hidden folder that is only viewable with WinZip in the %UserProfile%_ directory.(%UserProfile% redirects to the user's folder) There are full of ZIPs of fake pirated software/movie (over 20000 entries!) but they are VIRUSES, they are just serval KB. A Setup.exe is in every ZIPs. I deleted them and used File Sherrder but they still come back after serval days. Wher I user the latest Norton Internet Security to scan them, it said no virus, but when I user Live OneCare online Safety Scanner(http://onecare.live.com), over 20000 viruses are detected! There is nothing special other that performance decreased, I dont know how did they came out and HELP!!!

My guess is that theres an installer, so evey time you try and delete them they reinstall.
Try using these 2 programs, they might help:

Id also recomend installing a diffreent antivirus program as norton can slow your system down a lot just being there. Antivir seems to be a pretty good one, its free and very easy on sysem resources, also does a daily scan to get rid of any crpa you might have encountered.
If all else fails, you can always do a complete reinstall of everything (wipe your hard disk with a proper utility), although this is definetly an absolute last measure. does giv guarenteed sucess though.
good luck.

I had a similar situation a few years ago with a nasty malware virus (that was undetectable by any AVS!). Everytime I thought I had removed it, it kept reinstalling itself. My last resort was going to be a complete re-install, but before that I finally found an article on the internet that exlained how to go in through DOS and delete line by line those files needed to be rid of it once and for all.
If you know the name of the virus (or viruses), try doing an internet search on it.
