I have an opportunity to "farm" multiple pc's to speed up the animation rendering process but I don't know of a good way to do this using sketchup. Is there a plug-in that would give me this ability to use the ram from multiple networked pc's?

I think your best bet for doing this would probably be kerkythea, im pretty sure it can be set up to run on multiple PCs, although i dont know any details. Check out the KT forums, there'll be a lot more info there.

I moved this topic to the SketchUp forum as it was not a tutorial or a how to.

I use Vray for SketchUp at work and I get all the "old" PCs to put them in a renderfarm. Actually they are not that old and this way I can speed up rendering a LOT even on single images.
            Works great. πŸ‘

But you have to do some work in Vray before running the animation right? I suspect if you don't mess w/ the materials and lighting and such it would look odd. I basically want the exact same sort of output that sketchup would give me.
