Texture Problem - Warping

I'm having an issue w/ my brick textures. At a distance they appear "warped" if you know what I mean. Is there a solution for this?

From your description, it appears to be the "moire" effect. Scaling up the texture should help to alleviate the problem.

It is impossible to get rid of all moiré. Using screen antialiasing helps somewhat (Window>Preferences>OpenGL)if your display supports it. When exporting still images the effect can be reduced by exporting a 2...4 times larger image than needed, and scaling it down to size in Photoshop using bicubic downsampling. When exporting larger than screen images, turn off Antialiasing from the Image export options, or SU will freeze or crash.

The "biggest" export I have ever needed was 3500 x 3500 pixels and I did it with AA on (single 2.7 GHz CPU, 512 Mb memory and a 256 Mb ATI Radeon card - not a power machine at all...)
True it was without shadows (then it froze big time).
