How to remove background from prints

Newbie here. I'm trying to print elevation drawings of a building and have managed to figure out most things but I'm having a problem with the background. How do I stop the background being printed? The blue sky in this example...

Well, shaded with textures leave the sky (and the ground if there's any set) on. Hidden line will "paint" everything BUT the sky to the default background colour (so you lose your materials but the sky remains).

To do what you want, go to the styles dialogue > in model > background settings (somewhere in the middle in the top row of those little icons) and make the background white while turning both the sky and ground off.

This will let you export/print with no background but still with all the textures in your model (or none if you wish). Also this is the way for the settings to insert your model into LayOut (if you use this presentational tool of the "Pro bundle" or how I may put) without any background (and then you need not meticulously clip it around in LO).
