        Sorry, but I'm a real biginner, and I don't know a thing.

How do you line up the circles in the first place, and where is the follow me tool?

          Hi Daikon,

First discover the toolbars of SU: go to View > Toolbars and you will find a lot of them that you can activate. You can also activate the Follow me tool from the Tools menu.

As for aligning ("lining up") the circles, the easiest way in this case would be to go to Top view (either activate the camera tool from what I said above or go to Camera > Standard views) and draw the horizontal circle say from the origin. Notice that the circle - while dragging - will be blue; meaning it's perpendicular to the blue axis and on the red/green plane (i.e. horizontal). Well, this is not hard, I know.

Now go to say front view (from the same standard views), click on the circle tool and start a circle above the prior one starting its origin from the blue plane (this will make sure that it is right above the previous one). Notice that your circle outline is green now - meaning that it's perpendicular to the green axis and on the red/blue plane; i.e. vertical.

Now select the bottom circle, go to tTools > Follow me and with the fancy cursor, click on the face of the top circle.

It's just a snap when you already know the workflow.

          Gai...
