    i had some problem to model this idea using SU. at last i used wings3d+SU . and today i found "joint pull/push" .amazing tool! . any other su pure (or plugin ) way?

        Something like this?

        See attached file for the general idea. The only trick is to intersect the roughly parallel rectangles with the roof membrane by groups in a separate file. It is easy using "Paste in Place". Then group the resulting beams and use paste in place to get them back in the original file.

        Done quickly before heading off to work so please excuse the short explanation.

            thanks Fbartels for yr tut . as i said i made it using WINGS3D + Sketchup . and i need the face to be curved and holes on it . i tried zorro , looks great . !!! thanks all
