Hi, I am new to this forum and new to sketch up so it all learning from now on! I am trying to create 3d tents (don’t ask!) and have used photomatch to get the textures from the photo of the tent I want to create in 3D. So far so good, but as I rotate the tent the sides of the model that were 'behind' when I applied the image have of course no texture. I want to be able to duplicate the texture on one side of the tent on the other because of the detail in the image i cant just pick a colour from the Materials picker.

Sorry for the long post but this is driving me nuts and I sure there is an easy answer....I have attached the .skp file to illustrate.

      Al

      a tent...

this doesn't directly answer your question, but you can try to just copy or mirror one of the good faces and replace the side you are having troubles with.

let me know if that doesn't make sense

..that is it!. Almost, I have manged to flip the face, now how do i acuratly fit the new side back into the place where i deleted the untextured face. Using the rgb axis and trying to manually fit the face into the holes is very fiddly and I cant seem to manage it. Any other way to do this?
            Thanks
