Bug in push/pull option
-
I have laptop (pentium M 1,7 ,1Gb DDR,ATI mobility radeon 9700 128mb/128bit) and in sketchup pro6 have bug in push/pull option, and cursor can't mark some surfaces and lines.
It's terrible to work in this great program but sketchup works perfectly on my desktop with the same file.
When I turn off hardware acceleration in sketchup everything works, but very slow.
I have new omega ati drivers for graphic card.
please help -
Hi Nemanja (actually I would expect someone with a name like this to be called Stephen as a first name),
What OS do you have? This whole thing sounds like a graphic/video driver issue (that is most frequently the case with Vista if you have a PC nowadays).
If so, try to update your driver via the manufacturer's website and see if there is any difference.
If not, some screenshots would be helpful...

Have you tried unchecking Fast Feedback? I had an ATI All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro that worked fine with that box unchecked. There is a known issue with ATI/AMD cards not using fast feedback well.
If that doesn't work, try checking that box dealing with correcting the reverse face issue?
Restart SU after each change to be sure it takes.
EDIT: A person on the Free forum reports a reverse face/problem picking a face from the latest driver upgrade. He is using a different ATI card. And several other people have been reporting problems with latest ATI drivers. If your card worked before, try rolling back the driver. The window that opens after you select driver properties when you go to update drivers has a driver rollback button. Also you can hunt down and install an older driver.
