Creating Materials
-
Hi all,
My name is Jeff and am new to this forum. I have been toying with sketchup for a few months and love it. I joined this forum to pick the brains of those with experience in this program. I just started working for a landscaping design firm and want to use sketchup to create the plans so my office, crew and client will have a thorough understanding of what the final job will look like. My question is how do i import a pattern,(one i have created in Adobe Photoshop, such as a brick patterns, or concrete stamps not found in sketchup) into the sketchup materials library. Or is it even possible. Any help to this beginner would be appreciated, thanks for your time. (I am searching the forum for this question as well)

File->import make sure you select the 'use as texture' option before you load up the image.
EDIT: read the post in alans link, much more informative.
