If I'm working to select and group parts of a complicated elevation, I have a problem that must be a command oversight or a Bug.

When I've spent long minutes selecting all the tiny polylines from my Acad import to create a group for a certain building feature, I sometimes mis-click or make my selection go away. I can't find the command to return to my last selection! Is this my oversight, an SU bug or can SU be that stupid?

    Thanks for any help,
    Gary

Ive never heard of a feature that lets you go back to your last slection, although i can certainly recall a lot of times when i wish there was.

Ok, I guessed that might be the case...

I haven't found any reference to it in Help, so I guess it might be something for the Wish List.

3DS Max has had that feature from the first verion of Max. Every other 3d app out there has that ability; to create and recall last selections and sets of selections. If you model characters or other complex geometry. It's a necessity.

I'm just surprised that I haven't found a post about that in the SU forums. I love the speed of modeling in Sketchup but the selection process creates too much unecessary stress...but that's not too bad in the overall scheme...

          Thanks,
          Gary

And that's a great scipt, too.
See the thread about it to get more ideas (like it remembers a selection set in a group that you have closed since the selection etc.)
