Could SCF help the Trapped Miners in Crandall Canyon Mine?
-
it occured to me today while watching and reading and researching the trapped miners, that perhaps we could help in the rescue effort and perhaps help in other rescue efforts...
here's my idea... perhaps they already have this, but I doubt it.
all mines in the USA are required to have elevation maps of the mines as they are dug out, this link is provided in the news... http://www.foxnews.com/photoessay/0,4644,2171,00.html#5_0 if you look at the map... you'll see that we could easily build a 3D map of the mine at the time of the collapse, this might help in the resuce effort...
also here is a google earth link to the Mine
http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile26417/Crandall-Canyon-Mine.htmanyway... do you think this is a good idea?

we could also sell these maps to news organizations.
-
you must be advanced at tweaking these images, could you post an enhanced image?
-
no... those are crappy images off news sites...
Topozone.com offer better maps...
we would have to have better quality...
