I pay 4.50 for 300 gigs and all the dressings

Hi guys,
Well some people cannot see the bigger picture eh.We have Modelhead who has been running with a particular product for years, is willing to share that knowledge with brand spanking new beginners on the subject like myself, for free.
Just think of all the people who would benifit from this help. What would it cost for 1 to 1 tuition.
Kris. Why dont you continue with your thread on building a web page using your provider, your software, step by step and allow people who wish to follow your path, travel along it.
It would be very helpful and greatfully appreciated by many I'm sure.
Cheers
Hazel.

I was happy to be following this subject, and intended to get involved, and work on my own stagnant non-happening thought of a webpage.
Modelhead and Alan, if your can stand some lurking and can continue this thread, it is appreciated.
Regards, Hank -
Hi Hank
I'm up for that Hank. Just to keep you updated. I'm really busy at present on other stuff. I'm happy to share what I learn from Modelhead. Also hope that Kris continues with his thread and walk people along his chosen path.

I hope you don't think I'm detracting your thread Bruce... you're one of my only defenders... so I would have to be that way to you... I'm just a cheap bastage like I said before... and the price, it's the only point I've had to disagree with you on this entire thread, and your 50,ooo typed words in it...
so please guys don't take my nuts term to seriously... you're doing a great job here Bruce... don't let me stop you...

Modelhead,
Just wanted to offer some info on a hosting/domain service that might be worth a look.Their basic plan is $25 per year with a lot of features, you can upgrade services from that as well. Also, the same 0$ hosting plan can be purchased in 2 year increments and longer with a larger savings. I typically buy the two-year for $44.00
Good luck with everything.

Modelhead,
I agree with the route you are taking. My experience with doteasy started about 5 years ago and the first couple of years there were server problems a lot, and i complained a lot. They always were very attentive though and since that time have (over the last few years) i've experienced no server problems or interuptions.
I look forward to hearing others experiences. Keep in mind my site is small and doesn't get the traffic i would've hoped.... -
Well im on board also Bruce and yes with Yahoo.
I looked at the basic small business package, the cost, the service and tools provided and thought im happy to pay £6 per month for that.
If I was to purchase a similar package here in the UK it would cost a lot more.
Another bonus is you are not tied into a contract, you pay month by month and so can move whenever you wish. -
Hi guys,
I've signed up to the Yahoo starter package, downloaded their web page building tools and I'm as happy as a pig in ....For those thinking of using the same package that I have purchased, Yahoos web page building tools will only work with Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
Their package will allow you to use some other software to build your web pages. You need to check this out.
I'm think I'm so damn lucky having someone on this forum walking me through, step by step, building my skills and taking me to another level.
A big thumbs up to Bruce.
Alan, sorry got that wrong

Hi Modelhead,
Glad you are back in this space helping others.I will play with sitebuilder as advised. I love the idea of getting ones feet wet, so to speak, because you learn so much from your mistakes. In fact, I would say more so, because of all the problems you have to solve. And then you learn something more. Then eventually you've cracked the nut, and its time to move on to the next problem.
With regard to your point that you feel that you are going
into too much detail. I personally think that great teachers start with the basics, and are willing to answer any questions. I am a beginner, I do like to know all the details, and I think that it is essential.Looking forward to the class on Wednesday.
Thanking you again.

So now you have a URL (universal resourse locator) that looks something like this http://www.ibuildmodels.com/sketchup/I Cannot see my URL
htttp://www.hand-cut-dovetails.com/sketchup/so the next part I cannot complete yet.
Paste it into your browser location field, hit enter and see what happens. The browser should now display this……(without the resident files of course)
If you will give me 2 minutes I try again
